Install
The original Windows guide follows the same sequence: install, configure, then connect and verify the bot identity.
Config files
The same core files are used regardless of platform: setup.ini, servers.ini, perform.ini, deop.ini and userlist.db.
Practical note
The local copy keeps the platform notes short and points back to the same command and database references used by the Unix guide.
